Noted writer and lecturer Jim Bacon shares how Richmond is reinventing itself for the twenty-first century economy by supporting the arts. He views it as a shrewd path to economic development, noting that a vibrant arts scene makes Richmond more attractive to members of the creative class who will seed the next generation of economic growth.
At the presentation, explore how other cities are developing solutions to meet their changing urban needs in the exhibition Reprogramming the City: Opportunities for Urban Infrastructure.
