Celebrate National Library Lover’s Month with Romantasy Jeopardy! Romantasy is a literary subgenre that combines the elements of romance and fantasy. With social media’s influence (particularly BookTok), the popularity of this genre has skyrocketed due its escapist-feel, relationship tropes, as well as its diverse characters and sensational worldbuilding. Three teams of three will battle against each other in a classic game of Jeopardy, where they will be quizzed on BookTok pop-culture references and Romantasy series that include authors such as Jennifer L. Armentrout, Holly Black, Carissa Broadbent, Sarah J. Maas, Rebecca Yarros, and more! Each individual team member must register. Otherwise, the event is open to the public and audience attendees are not required to register.
